At Community Church, we seek the sense of relationship among believers that binds lives together. Therefore, we hope to create an atmosphere between Community Church members, visitors, and community members so that each individual feels Christ's love through others in an environment that connects individuals with other with similar interests to allow loving relationships to grow.
Hospitality
This committee’s goal is to make each person worshiping with Community Church feel welcomed and connected. Coordinating social events and personally calling on visitors are part of this important ministry. Additionally, they host coffee hour each Sunday after the 8:30 am worship service.
Sports, Concerts and Field Trips
Community Church organizes events to give members the opportunity to have fellowship in enjoyable, meaningful ways. As a congregation that enjoys spending time with each other, these events are scheduled regularly throughout the year. Past outings have included Pirate games, family hikes and dinner theater evenings.
Special Events
Some church events are so enjoyable that they have become annual traditions, as is the case with the Easter egg hunt and the summer picnic. Additional events, like adult retreats and camping weekends, have also been coordinated.
