Playgroup Plus

Playgroup Plus is designed to meet the needs of children two and a half, three and four years of age. (Your child must be at least 2 years old as of March 1st to qualify.)    Playgroup Plus students follow a curriculum structure similar to the preschool, but more play and socialization time are included than in the preschool classes. 
This experience will provide an adjustment stage between a child’s early years at home with parents and the beginning of preschool education.

Playgroup Plus offers AM and PM sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The AM session runs from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and the PM session runs from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.   A child may attend only one session (AM or PM) per day.   You may enroll your child in either the AM or PM sessions for one or two days per week.

Tuition for the Playgroup Plus is $50 per month for one session per week, and $100 for two sessions per week. Preschool

THE ARK’s preschool program will foster your child’s development by providing an environment where children are encouraged to express themselves, be creative, make choices and develop a sense of independence and personal worth. It is designed to meet the needs of children who are three and a half, four and five years of age.   (Your child must be at least 3 years old as of March 1st to qualify)

Children attend three days per week. Sessions are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Children attend three sessions per week.  A child may only be enrolled in either the AM session or the  PM session, not both.

5-Year Old Preschool

This specially designed program is intended for children who are not yet ready for the structure of a five day per week kindergarten program. It follows the same curriculum as the preschool program, however, additional activities and earlier exposure to writing letters and numbers is provided.   Children must be 5 years old by Sept 1st to qualify. Please note: Occasionally, children with September or October birthdays, who have already had preschool experience, are considered for the 5-Year Old class. Acceptance into the class is based on prior preschool experience, parent agreement and teacher approval. Acceptance into the 5 –Year Old class will be confirmed at the beginning of the school year.

Noah’s Kids

THE ARK hosts Noah’s Kids, a before and after school program, designed to meet the needs of working parents whose child(ren) attend McCullough, Sunrise or Harrison Park Elementary schools. Noah’s Kids provides a safe, fun and creative environment for school-aged children from kindergarten through fifth grade during the school year. Noah’s Kids morning session is from 6:30 am to 9:00 am, and the afternoon session is from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.  Noah’s Kids operates according to the Penn-Trafford School District’s schedule, but we are open extended hours for early dismissal days and snow delays.  

NOAH'S KIDS KINDERGARTEN KARE is our Before & After School Care for Kindergarten Kids.  Children who attend McCullough, Sunrise or Harrison Park Elementary Schools in the Penn Trafford School District are eligible to attend. AM  Kindergarten Kare hours are 6:30 - 12:45 & the PM Kindergarten Kare hours are 11:45 - 6:00.  Noah's Kids Kindergarten Kare operates according to the Penn Trafford School Districts schedule, but we are open extended hours for early dismissal days and snow delays.

Tuition for each Noah’s Kids morning session which includes breakfast before 8:00 am and transportation to school is $8.00.  Afternoon session is $6.00 when your child is picked up before 5:00 pm or $8.00 when your child is picked up between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  The afternoon session includes a snack and transportation from school.  There is a $25.00 registration fee for the first child, and a $15.00 registration fee for each additional child.

Kindergarten Kare

This program provides care, play and transportation to school for children attending morning or afternoon kindergarten at McCullough, Sunrise or Harrison Park Elementary schools.

AM Kindergarten Kare is from 6:30 am to 12:45 pm.
PM Kindergarten Kare is from 11:45 AM to 6 PM

Tuition for Kindergarten Kare is $20.00 per session, or $90 per week. This includes breakfast (before 8:00 am), a snack and transportation to school. There is a $25.00 registration fee for the first child, and a $15.00 registration fee for each additional child.
