The G.Y.M. (God’s Youth in Motion)- If you’re a teen who loves music, dancing and worshipping the Lord, make sure you don’t miss the G.Y.M. this Thursday, February 2nd from 7p-9p in the MMR! This month’s theme is “Love is in the Air.” Wear red and bring your friends.

Join us February 10 & 11 at Community Church for this special event that includes expert teaching, engaging stories and real-life testimonies to help strengthen your relationship. No matter what shape your marriage is in, this honest look at the challenges every marriage faces will offer the hope that your marriage can be a work of art.
The cost of the event is just $50 per couple, which includes event manuals as well as lunch & a romantic dinner on Saturday. Scholarships are available as needed.

F.E.A.S.T.
Come F.E.A.S.T. (Followers Eating And Sharing Together) with us and enjoy good food and fellowship each Wednesday evening from 4:30pm-7pm in the Multi-Ministry Room. A cost of $4.00 is charged to help defray costs. This week, January 25th, is BBQ Pork Sandwich and Potato Salad. Hope you'll join us.

The Renew Women's Conference with Gwen Smith will be held Saturday, May 5th, from 8am-3pm here at our own church! Gwen is a nationally known speaker, recording artist, worship leader and the author of the book "Broken Into Beautiful". Gwen also co-founded Girlfriends in God, a conference and devotional ministry, and is a contributing writer for the Girlfriends in God daily e-devotions which are sent to more than 200,000 subscribers each weekday (www.GirlfriendsInGod.com, www.GwenSmith.net). Casting Crowns Concert
You love the music, and here is your chance to see this award-winning band with your Community Church friends! Casting Crowns is coming to the Consol Energy Center on March 31st at 7pm. DREAM ON- The Revolve Tour
Awesome music, real-life stories, drama, and a ton of fun combine for a high-energy, inspirational, encouraging event for teen girls! The Revolve Tour understands what girls dream about, but they also know that God's plan for their lives is bigger and better than even they can imagine. This tour is designed to inspire girls to put their dreams in God's hands! The Revolve Tour addresses issues facing 6th through 12th grade girls. One adult sponsor for each 10 teens will accompany and chaperone our girls. The event will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 9am-4pm at the Soldiers & Sailors Auditorium in Pittsburgh. The cost of a ticket for the event is $70, which includes transportation to and from the event, breakfast and lunch, and admission. There are a limited number of tickets, so register today! District Helpshop at CUMC
This year's Helpshop entitled, "Mind, Body & Spirit", will be held on January 28th from 8:30am-12:00pm here at CUMC. Keynote speaker is Ms. Tanika Harris from the General Board of Global Ministries. Registration deadline is January 21st and there is a registration fee of $5. Brochures with class information and registration forms are available at the Welcome Center.
Mothers Circle Playgroup
It is winter with snow, ice and little ones cooped up indoors with lots of energy. Come and join our playgroup to give your child a chance to play and burn off some of that energy with other kids their age. Mothers Circle is a nondenominational cooperative playgroup for mothers or caregivers and their small children (0-5 years).
